We're hiring a laser technician in Harrogate
Part time to start, with a real route to full time. £17 an hour plus commission, and hours we'll build around you.

We're a laser hair removal clinic with sites in Harrogate and Manchester, and we're looking for a laser technician to join the team at our Harrogate clinic.
We treat all skin and hair types on a triple-wavelength diode laser — 755nm, 810nm and 1064nm, three wavelengths in one handpiece. Our clients come to us for results, but they stay because of how they're looked after. That's the bit we care most about getting right.
It's a small team and everyone genuinely gets on. You'd be trusted to run your own room and your own clients, with the rest of the girls there when you need them.
The role
£17 an hour, plus commission on treatments and 10% on all retail sales.
This is a part-time position to start, with the opportunity to go full time if that's what you want down the line.
Right now we need cover Tuesday to Saturday, including at least two Saturdays a month and two evenings a week. Hours are flexible and can be changed to suit you and the clinic as things move — we'd rather find the right person and build the rota around them.
What you'll be doing
- Consultations, patch tests and treatments
- Talking clients through their treatment plan honestly — what laser can do, how many sessions it usually takes, and what to expect in between
- Keeping accurate client records, forms and treatment photos
- Checking medications and contraindications properly before every appointment
- Looking after the clinic day to day — cleanliness, stock and laser safety
- Recommending aftercare where it'll genuinely help
What we're looking for
- Level 4 Laser and IPL qualification, plus Core of Knowledge
- NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy, or equivalent
- Hands-on laser experience, ideally with diode
- Confident, warm and easy to talk to — clients often bring up things they've been self-conscious about for years
- Reliable and organised, with real attention to detail
- Comfortable working Saturdays and evenings
Not yet Level 4?
We run our own training academy, so for the right person with a strong beauty therapy background we'd consider training you up.
We do need to fill this role quickly though, so qualified applicants will be prioritised. If that's not you yet but you're serious about moving into laser, still send your details — we'd rather know you're out there.
