Finding Us
Getting Here
- Street parking — Low-cost pay-and-display metered parking is available right outside the clinic door. Free from 6pm.
- Public transport — Bus stops and Harrogate train station are both very close to the clinic — easy access whether you're travelling locally or from further afield.

Children
For safety reasons, children under 16 are not permitted inside the clinic. This is due to the laser environment and the other businesses we share the building with.
If childcare falls through, please let us know as soon as possible — we'll need to reschedule your appointment.
Before You Begin
Your Consultation
Every laser journey starts with a consultation — come and speak to one of our experts. To save time on the day and so we can go ahead with your treatment, please complete your consultation form (sent to your email) before you arrive. This is essential — without it we won't be able to proceed.
Your consultation will include:
- A patch test — on your treatment areas — please shave a small patch beforehand where possible.
- A full walkthrough — of your treatment and what to expect.
- Time for any questions you have — we want you to feel completely informed and comfortable.
- A gift bag to take home — including a razor and a pot of aloe vera for aftercare.
Laser Hair Removal
Everything You Need to Know
Before Your Appointment
- No sun or sunbeds for 2-4 weeks before — If you've recently burnt or had a lot of sun exposure, please let us know — we may need to extend this and we'll assess on arrival.
- No fake tan for 2 weeks before — Even the tiniest residue can cause burns. Treatment areas must be completely fake-tan free.
- Shave 12–24 hours before — This makes sure the hair is freshly shaved and the skin has settled.
- Never wax or pluck throughout your course — Shaving only. Waxing and plucking remove the hair root, which is what the laser targets.
- Arrive product-free — Please remove all fake tan, moisturiser, oils and makeup from treatment areas before you arrive. We can remove deodorant at the clinic if needed. You will be turned away if products are still on the skin — this is to protect you from burns.
- Remove all jewellery — From treatment areas and surrounding skin — metal can reflect laser light.
- Wear SPF 30 or higher — Any time your treatment area is exposed to the sun, throughout your entire course.
During Your Treatment
- A private changing room — to get ready and hang your clothes.
- Always covered by a towel — for your comfort and dignity throughout.
- Clothing removed from treatment areas only — we'll guide you through what's needed depending on the area being treated.
- Shaved areas only — we will only laser areas that have been freshly shaved before your appointment.
After Your Treatment
- No sun or sunbeds for 2-4 weeks — And use SPF 30 or higher if treated areas will be exposed at all.
- Avoid heat for 48 hours — No exercise, sweating, saunas, steam rooms, hot baths or hot showers. Hair follicles need time to cool down — this prevents irritation and reduces infection risk.
- Don't shave for up to 2 weeks — Wait until the hair sheds. Once it has, you can shave again whenever you need to.
- Tell us straight away if anything looks unusual — If you notice any adverse reactions after your treatment, contact your technician as soon as possible.
The Science
Hair Cycles & Treatment Schedules
Laser hair removal works with your body's natural hair growth cycle — which is why timing between sessions is so important, and why a single treatment isn't enough.
Recommended Intervals Between Sessions
- Face areas — every 3–5 weeks
- Body areas — every 6–8 weeks
These intervals are carefully timed to catch your hair in its active growth phase, which is the only phase laser can effectively target. Time between sessions will extend as the hairs reduce.
Why Multiple Sessions Are Needed
At any given time, only a percentage of your hair is in the active growth stage — known as the anagen phase. The rest is either resting, shedding, or dormant beneath the skin's surface. Laser energy can only damage hair that is actively growing, because that's when the hair is still attached to the follicle and pigment is at its richest.
Because of this, every session targets a different “wave” of hair — gradually working through the full cycle until all your hair has been treated. It's not that laser stops working — it's that your hair grows in stages, and we need to catch each stage as it appears.
What to Expect After Each Treatment
- Days 1–14 — Your treated hair will continue to grow as normal — this isn't regrowth, it's the hair we've already damaged working its way out.
- Around 2 weeks — The hair sheds and falls out. Most clients describe their skin at this point as feeling similar to after a wax — smooth, with little to no hair.
- Weeks 3–8 — A new hair cycle comes through, and we repeat the process — damaging the next wave of active growth hair at your next appointment.
This cycle continues until all your hair follicles have been treated.
How Many Sessions Will You Need?
Every person is different, and every body area responds slightly differently — but as a general guide:
Once a body area reaches a point where there's no visible hair, treatment can be paused for that area until a top-up is needed.
What Affects Your Results
The number of sessions you'll need depends on several factors:
- Body area being treated
- Gender
- Hair colour and thickness
- Skin tone
- Hormone and testosterone levels
- Medical conditions (including hormonal conditions like PMOS)
- Medications you may be taking
This is why we always recommend a consultation before booking your first treatment — so we can give you a realistic, personalised idea of what to expect.

Cancellation Policy
We operate a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. This applies if you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason within the 48-hour window before your appointment, OR if you have not followed our pre-care or aftercare guidelines and your appointment has to be cancelled or moved as a result.
Cancellation Policies & Client Terms
Deposits
- A 25% deposit is required to secure all bookings.
- If booking multiple appointments, a deposit is only required for the next upcoming appointment.
- The deposit for the next appointment will be taken at checkout each time.
- Consultations are secured with a £5 deposit/fee.
Cancelling / Rescheduling — Laser Appointments
- More than 48 hours before your appointment — You can cancel or reschedule free of charge, or receive a refund of your deposit.
- Within 48 hours of your appointment — You can reschedule once for free within 72 hours of your original appointment time (excluding Sundays), subject to availability. If we cannot offer a slot within 72 hours, or you cannot attend: your deposit will be lost, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.
- Within 24 hours of your appointment — If you have already used your one free reschedule, or cannot attend within the 72-hour window: a 20% charge of the remaining balance will be required.
Cancelling / Rescheduling — Consultations
- Within 48 hours of your consultation — You can reschedule your consultation free of charge within 7 days of your original appointment time (excluding Sundays), subject to availability. If you are unable to attend within this 7-day window, or no availability can be offered: your £5 deposit will be lost, and a new deposit will be required to secure another booking.
Changing or Cancelling Body Areas
- Within 48 hours: a £10 amendment fee applies if cancelling any treatment areas.
- Remaining areas will be adjusted and re-priced accordingly.
- If you cancel an area and want it done later, that area must be booked and paid for as a separate treatment.
By booking an appointment with us, you agree to these terms. There are no exceptions — these policies are in place to protect our business and our team. Please understand we will not enter into discussions to waive these fees. This is our set policy.
