Documenting the build of our second laser clinic!
Opening a second clinic has been a dream in the making — and now that dream has officially begun. If you’ve been following our journey in Manchester, you’ll know how passionate we are about making people feel confident in their skin. Expanding into Harrogate and the wider West Yorkshire area including Leeds, Bradford, York and beyond means we’ll soon be able to help even more people start their smooth-skin journey.
This is our very first update in the “Behind the Build of Harrogate” series — a weekly blog where we’ll take you with us every step of the way as we bring our new space to life.
28th July — The First Viewing
This was the moment everything clicked.
We walked into the building and instantly felt that spark — this was the one. The layout, the location, the accessibility… it all made sense for what will soon become our brand-new laser hair removal clinic in Harrogate.
We could already picture the treatment rooms, the calming reception, and the same warm, welcoming atmosphere we’re known for in Manchester.
1st September — The Legal Side Begins
Not the glamorous part… but definitely a crucial one.
On 1st September, all the legal proceedings officially began. Paperwork, back-and-forth emails, planning, approvals — the lot. While this part is rarely exciting, it’s the foundation for everything that comes next.
We spent this time refining what we wanted the clinic to become, especially for clients travelling from across Harrogate, Leeds, and the rest of West Yorkshire for specialist laser hair removal.
Interior Designs Begin
Next came the creative stage — layouts, colours, materials, lighting… all the small details that make a big difference.
Just like our Manchester clinic, our Harrogate location will be designed to feel clean, calm, and professional — a safe space where every client feels comfortable from the moment they walk through the door. We’ve poured our heart into designing treatment rooms that support a premium, safe and effective experience for all skin types.

21st November — It’s Official!
SIGNED.
On 21st November, we finally completed the deal — meaning the Harrogate clinic officially became ours.
This has been such a huge milestone for The Laser Base. From the very first viewing back in July to securing the keys, it’s been a long road behind the scenes… but every minute has been worth it.
24th November — Work Begins
Just three days later, the builders moved in.
Walls, flooring, electrics, laser-safe treatment rooms — everything is now underway. Seeing the space change day by day is surreal, and we can’t wait to show you the full transformation.
From now until launch day, we’ll be sharing weekly blog updates, behind-the-scenes footage, and progress photos as we get our brand-new Harrogate laser clinic ready to open.
