Meet Charlene: From From Corporate Life to Laser Technician!
Hi everyone, I’m Charlene and I’ve been a laser technician for nearly 6 years now.
My journey began in 2020 with The Laser Base, shortly after I had my first baby. Before this, I was working in the corporate world, but I always knew it wasn’t the right path for me.
When Jenny asked if I’d like to train in laser and work alongside her, it felt like the perfect opportunity - and it was the best decision I ever made!
Over the years, it’s been incredible to watch the business grow and see our little team expand - and the fact that my boss is also my best friend is just the cherry on top!
My favourite part of the job it’s definitely my clients. I’ve honestly met some amazing people along the way and made some really good friendships.
I love facial laser hair removal because I’ve seen first hand how truly life changing it can be, especially for those with hormonal imbalances. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching women’s confidence grow when they feel comfortable and confident in their own skin
I personally struggled with dark coarse hair and irritation on my Hollywood area and can genuinely say laser changed my life!
I moved to Manchester 14 years ago from a little village in County Monaghan, Ireland. When I’m not working, I’m a busy mum to my two girls, Isla and Elsie. Being a mum is my greatest achievement and my absolute favourite role.
